Every month we like to share member experiences to give a clear picture of what it’s like working with WellnessFX. We not only offer a broad variety of biomarker testing, but also personal consults with some of the top experts in the field.

WellnessFX consults are more than a regurgitation of the results you see on your computer screen or a re-packaging of information found on Wikipedia. Our practitioners review your test results and questionnaire before the consult. The WellnessFX platform has basic information on the biomarkers tested along with what your numbers mean, so you and your practitioner can jump right into the best way to seek improvements given your lifestyle and priorities.

WellnessFX practitioners:

  1. Are either MDs, certified dietitians, certified personal trainers, or naturopathic physicians.
  2. Look over your results beforehand to maximize your time.
  3. Are focused on prevention and getting to the root of the cause.
  4. Prefer natural solutions over medications.
  5. Compile notes and supply personalized written recommendations that are posted to your dashboard for later reference.

2012 – A Year of Wellness

Jim Kean

Jim Kean | CEO

If the 20th century was a time of reductionism, then the 21st is all about system biology. How do all the individual parts we’ve spent the last century learning about work together, affect each other, and dictate our health? For WellnessFX, 2012 has embodied this crucial shift. WellnessFX Baseline has made personal biological data accessible to the layperson. By providing essential diagnostics on a broad range of biomarkers and a personal consult with a trained practitioner, our members are able to put together their own puzzle pieces to create a holistic picture of lasting wellness.

2012 was a big year for WellnessFX. In just a year’s time, the company has become a pioneer in nationwide diagnostics networking. Since releasing WellnessFX Baseline this past April, we’ve opened in 14 states with plans to be in a majority of states by the end of Q1 2013. Our partnership with LabCorp has made expansion seamless and easy. Even though we’re based in San Francisco, our members as far as Florida and Pennsylvania are able to receive the same quick and easy results, benefit from the same in-depth consults, and track their progress over the same platform. Gone are the days of having to travel and spend time in a waiting room to receive the best care, the best opinions, or the best advice.

T1In this way, WellnessFX is also changing the definition of telehealth. With WellnessFX, customers receive tailored results, advice, and priceless knowledge, all on their time and their schedules. And with our mobile app, an individual’s personal biology can be accessed anytime, anywhere.

WellnessFX Practitioners Are Awesome!

2-practitionersLast month we shared with you a glimpse of what some of our members had to say about their WellnessFX experiences.

A big part of WellnessFX Baseline is the consult after the blood draw. We have an extraordinary list of talented, thoughtful, and immensely helpful practitioners, dietitians, and fitness experts to choose from.

Every month we take a hard long look at the comments our members leave for us after their WellnessFX Baseline blood draws and consults. We get some very helpful feedback, and are constantly working to make our services easier and best suited to meet your wellness needs.

As a bonus, we love reading about all the great experiences our members are having! Here are some of the things our members say the most:

  • More useful than a regular check-up at the doctor
  • The process is easy and convenient
